Robin Dua
President


Robin is President of EnStream LP and leads the company’s drive to develop transformational mobile commerce solutions.

Robin has a proven product development track record of turning vision and concepts into successful technology businesses. Robin was previously Director of Product Development for Speedpass Network, the electronic payment division of ExxonMobil Corporation. During his five year tenure, Robin was instrumental in making Speedpass the largest contactless payment network in the world.

Prior to Speedpass, Robin was Vice President of Internet Services for Primus Telecommunications. Robin led the expansion of Primus’s global Internet business through innovative product development in the Internet/wireless space, strategic partnerships and key acquisitions in North America, South America, Europe and Asia.

Robin previously served as Founder & CEO of GlobalServe Communications, Canada’s largest independent Internet Service Provider. Robin was credited with building GlobalServe’s national IP network, metro fiber network, and data center facilities which served consumers and multi-national businesses across 15 metropolitan markets in Canada. GlobalServe was acquired by Primus Telecommunications in 1999.

Robin holds a B.Sc. from the University of Toronto and a MBA from The George Washington University where he was inducted into the Beta Gamma Sigma honors society. He holds several patents related to mobile payment, wireless and Internet technologies.


Christian Ali
Vice President of Product Development


Christian Ali is Vice President of Product Development and is responsible for the strategy, design and deployment of EnStream’s mobile commerce product portfolio. Christian is also responsible for service delivery and customer care operations.

Christian has been a trusted advisor to the Canadian payments industry for more than a decade. Prior to joining EnStream, Christian was Vice President of Strategic Technology for Metaca Corporation (now CPI Card Group), a leading Canadian card manufacturing and personalization bureau. Christian was responsible for the strategy and execution of card programs, emerging payment technologies, strategic partnerships, and IT service delivery for all of Metaca’s customers throughout Canada and the United States. During his tenure at Metaca, Christian designed and executed hundreds of customized client solutions including the largest smartcard fulfillment program in North America.

In addition to his role at Metaca, Christian was also the IT executive advisor for Secure Products International, defining and implementing solutions across the group of companies that leveraged technology, people, and processes to expand product and service offerings, generate revenue, consolidate resources, and improve operational efficiencies.

Christian attended Ryerson University and is also an active member of the Queen’s School of Business Executive Alumni at Queen’s University.


Sanjay Dhawan, CA
Vice President, Finance


Sanjay Dhawan is Vice President of Finance for EnStream, as well as its Chief Compliance Officer. Sanjay is responsible for corporate finance, internal controls, risk, and other operational aspects of the organization. Sanjay works closely with the executive team on business strategy and planning.

Prior to joining EnStream, Sanjay Dhawan was the co-founder and co-Managing Director of Pluris Advisory Inc., a corporate finance firm providing transaction-oriented outsourced corporate development services to the technology sector.

Until 2004, Sanjay was a Director in the corporate finance and investment banking practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers in Toronto, Canada and in London, United Kingdom.

Over a 12 year career in corporate finance, Sanjay has garnered extensive experience with strategic, tactical and corporate finance advisory, mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, finance raising, change management, restructuring, due diligence, and shareholder value mandates.

In addition to Bachelor’s degrees in Mathematics and Business Administration, Sanjay has an MBA with majors in strategy and finance. Sanjay obtained his Chartered Accountancy designation in 1993 and is a member of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants.

Sanjay is also a charter member of the Toronto chapter of TiE, a non-profit organization that fosters entrepreneurship. He is also involved in TiEQuest, an annual business venture competition as well as the mentorship program.
