Overview

We are seeking a Java Software Developer to join our team. While being involved in various parts of the business and new features, your primary focus will be our payment processing. Common tasks include working with the Product team to define, refine and understand requirements, development of new features, unit testing features and ensuring timelines are met. Learning the system architecture, design of the current system and identifying areas that need to be refactored will also be core tasks.

Generating new ideas, dealing with constant change and effectively communicating information will be key to success in this role.

Primary Responsibilities

• Aid in the prototype and development of mobile NFC payment solutions on various mobile platforms

• Contribute to development of NFC mobile backend server system functionalities, including provision, OTA download

• Write technical documents that detail the design of code

• Contribute to brainstorming sessions for new and innovative ideas

• Assist in deployment of the system, and development of deployment plans

• Ensure code and development practices confirm to company standards

Technical Skill Requirements

• At least 3 years of Mobile development experience on various Mobile platforms (Blackberry, IPhone, Android, J2ME)

• Experience with web services

• Experience with XML (SAX/DOM/XSLT/etc)

• Experience using Eclipse, RIM Blackberry IDE

Other Valuable Skills

• Experience on developing mobile application at Trusted Execution Environment

• Experience on developing applications that manages mobile devices’ secure elements

• Java Card, NFC contactless applet experience with STK

• Experience on JSR177, JSR257

• Experience on using build technologies (ANT, Maven, etc)
